Chris Dixon begins this episode in the history of the founder with DoubleClick and co-founder of FindTheBest Kevin O'Conner talking about ' Connor, "DoubleClick probably closest." New York is PayPal, there are two companies share the aptitude for hiring staff, which went on to create innovative enterprises.  In the same way as Paypal has Yelp, LinkedIn, YouTube and DoubleClick has spawned dozens of startups in New York as the right of the media.

With this in mind Dickson requests ' Connor if he deliberately creates conditions that encourage innovation in DoubleClick before you ask for ' Connor that he considered the defining characteristics of successful entrepreneurs.

About ' Connor describes his systematic way of accelerating the pace of innovation.  He lists several signs of a successful entrepreneur.  The desire for control and the opportunity to challenge the authorities are near the top of the list. The second way to detect the feature? "You told your boss to shove it?"

At the intersection of trying to solve the "big obvious" idea and not find a site that serves his needs ' Connor began to build what would become the company. He describes it as a "decision engine" to help you make difficult decisions, where search fall flat. What kind of dog should I buy? Where summer camp should send my kid? What investment adviser should hire?
